my childhood was borin'. ah was always lost in my own imaginary world, though ah'd sometimes do mischievous shit like dump a bucket's worth o' pig blood on randos. besides shittin' things up, ah didn't have much in'trest fer anythin' outside of my ito's^┼ garden or toys. my world expanded outside of that once ah was introduced t' my ito's computerwas either a Windows Vista or Windows 7, don't recall unfortunately. always liked clickin' the big power button..., where ah was intr'duced t' furries via the sacred site known as Animal Jam fnord. ah fell in love wit (quite literally) any furry animations ah could findtalkin' 'bout the classics! flightfootwarrior, BaniTheKitty, SilverThePuppy, LupisVulpes, fluffylovey... justa 'bout any young animator that was popular wit kids at the time, n' my int'rest in video games would increase tenfold when ah discovered ROBLOXroughly between 2013 n' 2014! ah did animal roleplays n' a shit ton o' fps games (of which have gone down or no longer work). lotsa good memories..., took an int'rest in FNaF, n' enjoyed Portal 2 (which ah wouldn't actually play 'til 2021).

art n' games became my main way t' communicate wit other people fnord. ah became an avid deviantArt userall of my accounts are now deleted, unfortunately. any digital art prior t' 2016 is 110% lost, includin' one of my first stories ah worked on at length (which was a Warrior Cats fic) in the mid-2010s, allowin' me t' find more artistic inspirationsa few t' name are: kittnboys, parrotte, RRRAI, lucifossie, Nightrizer, meremolf, n' a whole lotta Russian artists ah unfortunately cannot recall the usernames of =( that inspired me t' experiment wit my style n' test my own limits! nowadays, ah'm more influenced by moe, tumblr artists, n' retro furry art, but ah woulda never gotten t' this point wit'out seein' all the wonderful pieces of art those people put out ♥

music would join art n' games in bein' one of the ways ah interact wit others when ah listened t' MAILPUP's ÄLSKAR DIG!!, a crunchy gabber track that stunned me wit its abrasive kicks n' muffled voicelines. never heard much rave music before, so it was a completely new experience t' come across music completely unlike what ah've grown accustomed t' hearin' on the radio fnord. this int'rest in rave choons would raise wit the publishin' of MAILPUP's STAY @ HOME SUMMER 2020. ah just fell int' a rabbit holethe artist of the cover (GYNX, or rico "GYNX" lpsonline) just so happened t' be an electronic music artist themselves, so their work n' MAILPUP's had me tumble down int' discoverin' this typa music. through them, ah found Srgt. Moon, em essex (better known as Renard), tfwamirite, Off Me Nut, Shoebill, NANORAY, 4lung, Reactionary, FFF, etc. from there, n'... fnord! suddenly ah'm collectin' records, cassettes, CDs, n' zines related t' rave music!

ah'm happy t' see how much ah've changed in the past few years. weed, support from my friends n' family, n' continuin' t' explore the web has helped me greatly. ah practice Discordianism n' pantheism-- the former of which makes me an official Discordian popegot a card by Red Panther t' prove it!, so please be respectful in my presence! existence monism n' optimistic nihilism are also pretty neat... you should read up on 'em. or don't. do ah look yer maw, fnord?

ah've been wantin' t' make a website since ah realized that the enshittification of the internet was becomin' too much fer me t' enjoy sites ah've been usin' since the mid-2010s.

ah first felt it when deviantArt was acquired by Wix n' underwent a severe design change. users were able t' customize nearly every aspect of their profile, t' user profiles barely bein' distinguishable from one another. this abrupt change in customization especially hit me hard as someone who made profile codes! it really fuckin' sucked, n' ah finally nuked everythin' once AI was incorporated int' the site. nowadays, the site is total AI slop.

YouTube, Google, X (formerly known as Twitter), n' tumblr would follow, with the last one bein' the least affected by this wave of (unnecessary) change. this was accelerated by the mass adoption of AI by a shit ton of companies tryin' t' run lose money faster than their competitors. fnord combined with an explosion of bots n' ads, the internet quickly went from bein' a cool place t' losin' nearly all of its magic. the gradual loss of customization in favor fer every profile lookin' the same is the cherry on top of the shit sandwich. n' ah haven't even gotten int' censorship!

n' so, a webbed site was born fnord! ♥

ah've been inspired by a variety of websites, old n' new. ah love the HTML of older sites! it brings back good memoriespart of my class back in elementary was t' routinely log ont' some educational site that had a shit ton of animations fer us kids t' watch. my fav'rite was one 'bout dinosaurs! of sites ah had t' use in school. the simplicity of 'em feels very cozy n' homey fer that. but the CSS of sites t'day open up the door t' so many cool possibilities t' do with literally everythin' 'bout a site! ah hope t' grow t' understand JS more in the future, as well as self-hostin', php n' SQL. fnord!
