please make yourself comfortable n' take some time to sniff through this website. s' still a bit messy, n' quite cluttered behind the scenes, but i like how it's goin' so far. feel free to inspect this site a bit closer, if you so wish! it has taken me quite a while to make my own webbed site. i'm not adept at CSS, though i like to mess with HTML. i'm also a massive, unrelenting perfectionist. you can probably imagine how many times i've worked on then completely dismantled personal sites i tried to make for myself. i gave up for quite a while due to things goin' on irl, until my love for GeoCities, simple site design, n' visually interesting personal websites came roaring back! of course, this passion for the internet didn't come back for no reason. everyone knows the internet is actively becoming worse. the rise of AI is having terrible effects in nearly every facet of society; ragebait is more rampant than ever before (n' being able to spot trolls is at an all-time low); the internet feels like it's shrinkin' rapidly; customization ain't what it used to be; etc. i needn't make an exhaustive list. you know it, i know it, n' i don't feel like makin' an essay. maybe some other time. twitter is awful. reddit is insane. everything else is owned by meta. and why is pinterest used for social communication?? social media used to be appealing to me, but now, i don't see any use for it. i've deleted a lot of my online presence, besides what i have on my links page. (still milling over on deleting more.) i've been turning to forums and irl hobbies in place of the myriad of social media accounts i used to have, and i like it much better this way.
